Libi-do 48-63

Relax & heart opener

"Deep relaxation is an invitation to pleasure."

Pleasure arises from a feeling of security. As long as the nervous system is in alarm mode, the libido remains closed. The relax and heart opener Libi-dos are the antidote: they activate the ventral vagus nerve, open the heart and chest and create the inner space that sensuality needs.

Kidney sound and tulsi tea

⏱ 5-8 minutes · Evening🌿 All types · especially fiery-passionate types
What you do

Sit upright and rub your hands together until they are warm. Place both hands behind your back, at the level of your kidneys (below your ribs). Take a deep inhale and, as you exhale, make a long, soft "TSCHOOO" sound. Repeat 6-9 times. Afterwards: a cup of Tulsi tea.

Why it works

In the Qigong system, the kidneys are the treasure trove of life energy and Yin - the calm, feminine energy that underlies pleasure. The kidney sound is intended to clarify and strengthen the kidney energy. Tulsi (Holy Basil) is an Ayurvedic adaptogen that regulates cortisol, relaxes the nervous system and supports hormonal balance.

Step by step
  1. 1
Sit upright and rub your hands together until they are warm
  2. 2
Place both hands on the kidney region (back, below the ribs)
  3. 3
Inhale deeply through your nose – arching your back
  4. 4
Exhale with a long, soft "TSCHOOO" sound while keeping your back straight. Repeat 6 to 9 times.
  5. 5
Feel the warmth and heaviness in the kidney region
  6. 6
After that, prepare a cup of tulsi tea and drink it in silence
💡 Coco's tip

Tulsi tea is available in health food stores and Asian stores. It tastes slightly sweet and herbaceous and fits well into the evening ritual.
